We grow food in the garden to ensure that our neighbors have access to free and healthy food. No strings attached. But we wanted that to extend further when food isn’t growing. While food shelves are critical to feeding those who need the extra support, we can’t always get to those resources when they are open. And now with more and more need and less money for these critical resources, The Story Garden wants to make sure there is always something available to those who need it.

We encourage neighbors who have items in their home they are not using to donate. We ask those who have the means to purchase desirable and culturally diverse shelf stable food to contribute.

The FREE LITTLE PANTRY is located at 3500 Humboldt Ave N Minneapolis MN 55412. It will be installed by April 2025.
