Humboldt Honey MPLS

The Story Garden is proud to be home to Humboldt Honey MPLS, a woman run, hyper local, small scale business. We are committed to providing native plants in the garden and offering seeds and education around the importance of pollinators to the neighborhood.

This has been a new journey and one we are very proud of. We use ethical practices and operate with integrity in relationship to the bees and our neighbors.

Joanne Goodard and Danielle Tietjen are Humboldt Honey Mpls beekeepers.

We spend all year taking care of the bees, providing food and water when it is unavailable and ensuring their hives are free of mites and critters. We harvest once a year in the fall and sell the honey in pints and half pints to neighbors. All proceeds go to support to the garden and the business of bee keeping.
